Foton Ouman Galaxy has landed in Colombia, leveraging technology to upgrade logistics in the Americas.

  Recently, Foton Motors collaborated with its strategic partner in the Americas region and successfully held the launch event for the Galaxy heavy-duty truck products at the Caracas International Auto Show in Colombia. They officially introduced two high-quality heavy-duty truck models - Foton Galaxus 9 and Auman Galaxy - to the American market. The release of these two models aims to address the complex and variable terrain and logistics transportation challenges in the Americas with advanced intelligent technologies and extraordinary performance, promoting the comprehensive upgrade of regional freight equipment and helping customers achieve a double leap in operational efficiency and safety levels.

FOTON Galaxus 9 intelligent driving, calmly conquering rough terrains 

At the Cartagena Auto Show, the FOTON Galaxus 9 made its debut in the Americas. As an intelligent heavy-duty truck specifically designed for complex road conditions, this model integrates the achievements of Foton in the field of intelligence, addressing the real challenges in the Americas such as numerous mountains, numerous curves, and heavy transportation loads over long distances, and is dedicated to providing users with a fully functional driving experience. 

In terms of intelligence, Galaxus 9 has achieved a leapfrog advancement. The entire vehicle integrates over 28 intelligent driving functions. It is equipped with a perception system consisting of 10 cameras, 5 millimeter-wave radars, 1 laser radar, and a high-performance domain controller, enabling advanced auxiliary driving capabilities such as HWP high-speed guidance. This has raised the level of intelligence to a new height. In specific application scenarios, Galaxus 9 can perform functions such as active cruise control, lane avoidance within the lane, automatic overtaking, and safe parking during long-distance trunk transportation. This significantly alleviates the fatigue of drivers during long working hours and greatly enhances driving safety and traffic efficiency on undulating mountainous highways and other terrains.

Meanwhile, its intelligent cockpit system is also highly impressive. Combined with a high-horsepower engine and high-torque output, it is not afraid of the diverse geographical conditions and heavy-load requirements in the Americas. The entire vehicle undergoes integrated development and system calibration to achieve coordinated optimization of power, transmission, and control, ensuring stable performance of the vehicle in scenarios such as long-distance climbing and high-speed cruising. In terms of the interior, it is equipped with a 1010mm ultra-wide berth and a 330AH large-capacity battery, meeting the needs of drivers' rest and the power supply for onboard equipment. At the same time, Galaxy also features advanced intelligent driving and vehicle networking technologies, redefining the efficiency standards of heavy trucks with technology, and bringing users reliable, economical, and comfortable full-scenario transportation solutions.
